New ClubSport Location Finally Completes Renovation
Walnut Creek, CA – June 1999
The long anticipated ClubSport Valley Vista has finally reached completion and is ready to welcome
members and guests. The renovation and expansion includes the addition of a 5,150 square foot clubhouse,
featuring a cardio, circuit and free weight fitness center, a group exercise studio, an indoor/outdoor
child care area, plus a pro shop and a reception/front desk area. Also involved in the expansion is a
new parking lot, upgraded locker rooms, environmentally sensitive landscaping, and upgraded lighting
for nine of the club's 19 courts.
The project is a joint venture between Leisure Sports of Pleasanton, the development and management company best known for its' family of ClubSport facilities in Northern California, and J.P. Morris & Co. of Alamo. The 10-acre club is part of a master plan for the parcel, which also includes an upscale housing development by Delco Builders and Developers on the eastern portion of the parcel. Members, the community and the press are invited to tour the new facility and attend the Grand Opening functions planned throughout the month of June. The club is located adjacent to the Boundary Oaks Golf Course at 3737 Valley Vista Road in Walnut Creek.
