Leisure Sports Programs
Leisure Sports develops core programs for our members that
reflect trends in health and fitness. Additionally, we use
these programs as marketing tools to attract prospective new
members to our facilities. We continually enhance our array
of programs, tailoring them to meet the requirements of our
fitness resorts.
NuShape
NuShape is a weight-management program that tackles the serial
dieting mentality with personal counseling and accountability
as well as nutritional and stress-management skills training.
Key to the program is the Wellness Advisor who, at the beginning
of the twelve-week weight-loss journey, discusses priorities and
values, sets goals and reviews health data. In subsequent weeks,
lifestyle workshops teach skills for healthier eating and stress
management and set a weekly action plan for eating, exercise and
relaxation. After twelve weeks, the Wellness Advisor reviews
progress and sets up a customized weight-maintenance plan.
The Edge
The Edge provides guided high energy training programs to enhance
athletic performance. With an individual focus, the program
fine tunes inherent skills and teaches proper techniques to
"edge out" the competition. The Edge provides dynamic workouts
that develop speed, agility, power, coordination and flexibility
and empowers the participant to push beyond current athletic abilities.
Our proven training methods are taught by nationally certified
performance coaches and help athletes of all ages and skill levels
accomplish their sports-related goals.
