In 2016 Leisure Sports Fitness Clubs and Hotels raised over $226,000 in cash donations for a variety of causes and nonprofits by actively participating in fundraisers. ClubSport fitness clubs also hosted several events to raise awareness and solicit donations that support local charities.

This year the ClubSport created and sold specially designed t-shirts to support the Navy Seal Foundation and hosted a variety of fitness-focused events at each club to raise $22,354 for this notable charity.

“Leisure Sports, actively promotes supporting local efforts through participation, sponsorships and charitable giving in the communities where we do business,” said Ralph Rajs, Executive Vice President of Leisure Sports. “Throughout the year our clubs host a variety of fundraisers to support local charities, and it’s rewarding to us to lend a helping hand to those who need it.”

ClubSport’s spirit of giving has benefited several organizations in California and Oregon where the clubs are located the local food banks and schools. Charitable gifts are both large and small, the fitness clubs and hotels, donate thousands of dollars annually in goods and services including club memberships, spa services, hotel room nights, restaurant meals and personal training to local groups to be raffled as prizes for fundraisers.

“The bins have been piled high by the generosity of our associates and members during holiday toy, food, and clothing drives,” said Rajs. “We’ve held a few events to raise pet food for the needy and to support animal rescue efforts and it’s heart-warming to see the turnout.”
